  13.     We feed food scraps to the pigs and chickens. We dug a pit for 
  14.     garbage, but most of it is thrown on the ground outside the 
  15.     cooking fale (house).

  17. 14.    Does your family buy, produce, or sell foreign goods?
  18.     We sell our handicrafts to tourists within our country (mostly 
  19.     foreigners) and buy products of the Palagi (foreigners).

  23. 15.    What is each family member's most valued possession? 
  24.     Why?
  25.     Faaleo: Traditional mats she has woven that are put down for 
  26.     guests and relatives to sit on.
  27.     Auseuga: Pigs that we have for feasts for guests.
  28.     Laufafa: The radio so she can hear what is happening in the 
  29.     country. She also listens if money is coming from relatives in 
  30.     New Zealand or other parts of the world. (Banks broadcast the 
  31.     information when money is wired.)
  32.     Alatupe: Knife which he carries everyday and considers a 
  33.     most useful tool.
  34.     Teuila: Volleyball.
  35.     Fuao: Knife for cooking and cutting grass.
  36.     Uiti: "Weed-eater" which makes cutting grass easier and faster.  
  37.     (It used to take one week, now it takes 3 hours.)
